This explains what happens to information when you visit this site or get in touch. It is short because the site collects very little.

What this site collects on its own

Nothing that identifies you. There is no analytics, there are no advertising or tracking scripts, and no cookies are set.

One thing is stored in your browser: whether you chose the light or dark theme, kept under the key saintrac-theme. It stays on your device, it is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data for this site removes it.

Nothing leaves your browser on a normal page load

Every asset a page needs, the typeface included, is served from this domain. Loading a page contacts no one but us.

The typeface used to come from Google Fonts, which meant your IP address reached Google before anything appeared on screen. It is now served from here instead, so that request no longer happens.

When you contact us

If you email us or send the form on the contact page, we receive what you chose to send: your name, your email address, your company if you name one, and your message.

We use it to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell it or pass it to anyone else.

The form is delivered by Resend, an email service we use to send it to our own inbox. They process it only in order to deliver it. If you would rather not involve them, email us directly instead, which reaches the same place.

Embedded video

Some pages can show an embedded video player. Where one is present, nothing is requested from the provider until you press play. If you do, that provider, either Vimeo or YouTube in its no cookie mode, receives the request and may set its own storage on your device, under its own terms.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Almost all of it is plain static files; the single exception is the small function that takes a contact form submission and passes it to Resend.

Like any host, Vercel keeps standard server logs, typically IP addresses, requested URLs and timestamps, for a limited period, for security and diagnostics. We do not build profiles from them and we do not use them for analytics.

How long anything is kept

Correspondence, for as long as the working relationship and our own records require. Beyond that there is nothing to keep, because nothing else is collected.

Asking us about your information

Email info@saintrac.io to ask what we hold about you, to ask for a copy, or to ask us to delete it. We will do it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described rather than made quietly.
