Mid's Sauce

Mid's Sauce homepage - "We don't rush deliciousness" above a pan of tomato sauce, a jar of Mid's Traditional, tomatoes, basil and peppercorns

Intro

Mid’s has been making sauce since 1938 and sells it on supermarket shelves. The site’s job is not to take the order. It is to make someone want the jar the next time they walk the aisle.

The experience leads with cooking, not a product grid. “We don’t rush deliciousness” sits over tomatoes, basil, peppercorns, and a jar of the Traditional, and the range page introduces each sauce as something you would cook with rather than as a catalogue item.

Scope on this engagement was website development only. The brand already had most of a century behind it and did not need a rebrand from us.

Four sauces at launch, thirteen now. We have added each one as the range grew, and the structure has taken all of it without a rebuild.
